Questions & Answers

Asked By: Christine West
I've just bought one of these Tre Mercati mono taps but it wobbles. Is this normal?
Answered By: AQVA Team
Hi, this depends on where is it wobbling, is it the base of the tap? If so it could be that the connection to the underside of the sink is loose and needs tightening. However if the spout is tight and is is wobbling the body then it would mean that the bottom o-ring would need to be removed. These taps have an extra o-ring in the neck to make them tighter for customers who do not want them loose, however if you move the spout allot it can make it too tight and moves the body – removal of this bottom o-ring would make the spout looser and less pressure on the body
