Functionality - It use the latest intelligent heating and safety technology. Featuring two temperature settings of 45°C or 60°C, an in-built electronic temperature sensor ensures precise control with a smart 2-hour timer featured as standard. Simple to use with a single control button for all functions, the device displays its current operating mode using multi-coloured LEDs. The heating element has very low power consumption when in standby mode 0.5w.
Safety - Featuring an active safety feature that initiates in the event of dry radiator operation, this heating element is equipped with a temperature sensor and thermal fuse (double overheating protection). The element will display warning indicators in the case of malfunction. Rated I, IPX5.
Sleek and Unobtrusive - A subtle add-on to your choice of rail, the elements fit easily inside the rail, blending seamlessly with the collector profile so becoming an integrated part of your towel warmer.

Dear Sir/madam I'm interested in the Bauhaus black heated towel rail (angled). I do not want to connect to the central heating system however and instead want to only use the electric element. Is this possible? Do you just have to fill with water before hanging?

Thank you for your enquiry. You can indeed have this electric only - you have two options, you can fill the towel with oil filled or Glycol filled. Hope this helps.
