Hi, I have a recessed shower in a wet room and would like to place a glass door, hinged from the wall, to prevent water splashing across wet room. The floor is shaped to the drain and therefore not suitable for placing a shower base. Can this unit be installed in a 1100 wide recess opening, on the wall without the shower base? Best Regards Dave

Yes this can be used in a wet room situation without being installed on a tray.
